Interview #AQF24 — Apostolos Karagiannis states: “Greece is the ideal country for training.”
Apostolos Karagiannis found himself in Athens after his time in Patras, specifically in Vouliagmeni, alongside the USA Boys’ U18 National Team for a training camp and friendly matches.
The visit of the American delegation to the Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni (NOV) was a highlight, not only due to the presence of the U.S. team, but also because of the touching return of the Greek coach to his homeland.
Karagiannis, who works successfully in the United States — specifically in Chicago — shared his reflections with AQF24:
“It’s truly rewarding to see how consistent effort and dedication eventually lead to such positive outcomes. Looking back at the journey, it’s clear that the hard work and commitment of the past eight years have paid off. Beyond tangible results, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to follow my passion while receiving the emotional reward that completes you both as a coach and as a person. It’s a reminder that when you dedicate yourself to what you love, great things can happen.”
He added:
“Returning as a member of the U.S. team and working at NOV is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Greece is the ideal country for training.”
AQF24 wishes Apostolos continued success in life and looks forward to seeing him back in Greece soon!
