Μία τούρτα – έκπληξη περίμενε την Αλεξία Καμμένου στο Ολυμπιακό Χωριό λόγω των γενεθλίων της.
Ο Αρχηγός Αποστολής Πέτρος Συναδινός μαζί με τα μέλη του Αρχηγείου ετοίμασαν μία τούρτα και μία ανθοδέσμη και τα παρέδωσαν στην Αλεξία την ώρα που γευμάτιζε με τις αθλήτριες της Εθνικής Πόλο στο εστιατόριο. Μαζί ήταν και ο Υπαρχηγός Αποστολής Ιάκωβος Φιλιππούσης και τα μέλη της ΕΟΕ Νίκος Ιατρού και Νίκος Ξυλούρης.
Ολοι της ευχήθηκαν χρόνια πολλά και καλή επιτυχία στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες. Η Αλεξία Καμμένου αφού ευχαρίστησε την Ελληνική Ολυμπιακή Επιτροπή για την έκπληξη, τόνισε με μεγάλη χαρά «είναι τα καλύτερα γενέθλια μου».
